Hey Quangers, that beachy in the link looks alright!
Maybe it's one of those once -in-a-decade spots though...I hear that Long Island is notoriously crap.
There's others things NY is better known for...Guggenheim, Museum of Modern Art, Brooklyn Bridge, subways, etc, etc...maybe some of those ocker pros will get some culture.

A recent Surfing World issue had some amazing waves in NY. Left and right wedges and nice looking hollow beachies. It will be an interesting ambiance with the houso's just on the shore from the breaks...
