Hey Mark, where's a pic of your new carbo-railed board? Been keen to see that one.Wondering what combo of materials it is. Foam, resin etc. I've really been enjoying exploring new materials/construction styles, certainly gets the brain ticking over with new ideas.

Timmy, its a little ripper, lovin the way it feels, not better really but different, makes me surf snappier and quicker ( feels like it anyway ), ...like the look of that fun little number you copied, who was that for mate ???
for Sunny Coast waves ?...the carbon railed one is 5'11" x 19" x 2 1/2" ( cut down from a 6'3" I shaped but didnt love ( maybe it was sitting on my rack too long and I was a little inspired to shape one day and there was nothing else to tinker with , so being for me, well, the pencil and templates came out and an hour later it was now a 5'11.....anyway, its a stringerless PU blank, epoxy resin, was initially gunna do it with some carbon-kevlar rails but misplaced the carbon-kevlar so ended up just carbon...
but like I said, love the way it feels, lively and fast off the top, a whippiness diff from PU-PE...glassed with 1 x 4 bottom, 1 x 4 deck with patches, sat wrapped up along time before sanded, tuff for this glass ....
