Agent 99 -"How about we have a flatter deck and fuller rails 86?"

Agent 86 - "I just had a brilliant idea 99..."

That's how it looks, but I wouldn't say clunky.

Anyway, the voting thingo is all done, so I just await word on the judges choices.

Meanwhile, what's special about this one?

As said before Josh, even if the high heels win I'll still buy your boards instead of high heels!

SWVIC's is not plain -

Only been here 18 yrs, JD, but it still is pretty conservative. Risk injury if you rock up anywhere with more than 2 in a car. Mobile phone can cost you even more

Except for a few youngsters, it'll be the most colourful board in the water. Good thing I'm old and tough enough to take the shit

Gotta thank you again, mate. Done a lot of looking since picking it up yesterday. Sure it's going to do the intended job and it was great to meet you in person

As, you know, this one is very special - 50th pressie from the missus so it's with me for life. Good thing I married that girl. Will let you know how it goes for me. Cheers

Both, mate. Been with the girl for 29 yrs. If I have the board for that long, it'll take me to 79. Seems a reasonable age for death now, but I reserve the right to change my mind

Yep - it's like the olden days before the Internet - like, a real live person comes to collect a board in person. I like meeting my fellow Mexicans. Long live Mexicans...

This one is another surprise present for a customer who has the right kind of mates. I should be so lucky...but what would I want, considering I actually make the most important thing in life???

hmm...it's not underpants...hint Mrs Dowling!

I should add - no, Legion, that's not yours. I've just had a rash of birthday present ones. I have started yours though. :-)(

[quote="Legion"]How you know I'm watching?

I know everything. Unfortunately. I even know what I'm getting for my birthday, which is in a week.

Underpants. Funk I hate birthdays. I'm obliged to act all grateful for my pack of 7 new target jocks FFS. I'll tell you what I'd reeeeely like - a goddam decent run of swell, a blowy and a million bucks.

There's a little thingo at the bottom of the page which says who is viewing the thread at any time. :-o

BTW - I got the lokbox

Missed my window. Was hoping to catch you whilst online, JD. Got 2 questions I missed asking due to my excited state when picking up The Ballistic

Cure time - should I surf it yet?
Vent thingy - it's a hole, but there's nothing missing in way of a pluggy/membrane type thing, right?

Ignorance is not always bliss. Would hate my okanui to double it's weight when it first gets wet. As for cure time, there's no potential for quality until maybe the weekend. Weird that last point - been the other way for my entire working life

EDIT: Legion, you're still here and I know you know something of this vent thing. Be obliged if you respond

Hey SWVIC - utterly cured. Baked like a Rastafarian with the summer heat.

And you just leave the vent thingo as it is, no opening or closing required. Try not to poke pointy things in it.

You're back. Thought as much, but didn't want to fcuk it up. Googled vent install earlier today and then had a good look with a torch when I got home. Thought all was well, but needed confirmation. Cheers

B'day idea for you. Get Josh Dowling to make you a surfboard. You'll be real happy

I was thinking of a smaller version of your 6'4", but I think i'll probably get an 8'er. Long enough, but not too long. And thin, maybe 2 1/2
