I used to write a column called The Pulse of a Slow Man in an online tri mag and then it caught on and I used to write the back page section under that nickname in a mountain biking mag and it stuck. It's not that interesting, huh? That story hasn't got me laid yet It was kind of not really true at first but it has become a self fulfilling prophecy over the years.speedneedle wrote:Better late than never hey Slowman. Why do they call you that?

I'm OK Bohdi - just looking my most beautiful there...
Planer in one hand, jemmy bar in the other - the orders keep coming -
6'6" x 21 for Colin on the South Coast 6' x 20" for David in Newcastle Chippys out there - anyone who can swap me hard yards swinging a hammer? I'll do you a trade for a board.

Tiles? Mens room?
There's a 22 gallon drum out the back...thats as plush as it gets out there...
You'll need to be more versatile - Whatever you look at, it needs doing.
Meanwhile, juggling boards - Belinda's Concorde.

The quickest way to pretty up the place is to decorate it with a few of your boards! Good luck wit it all.speedneedle wrote:Tiles? Mens room?

Thanks for the well-wishes, and come visit when you're in Vicco...
New roof this weekend, then I'm getting serious.
Daryl, indeed, the place requires a vision, but the doors made it easy. They'll scrub up nicely.
This one is for Bohdi - what could be more luxurious than a shit in the sunshine? Seat padded with board offcuts? JD

Ya got an Akubra JD?....Wolf Creek!speedneedle wrote:Hey Bohdi - I'll take you up on that if you're game...'cept don't gimmee any BMW slick -
There's no hiding what that shed is without knocking it down, so I'm thinking rustic/Patagonia/Jack Johnston style, if that makes sense. I persuaded a few ferrous sheets of disintegrating roof tin off on the weekend, and scored enough for free to roof it again twice, for free!
Fong - yep, a little too much ventilation...but I've made a dent in the workload so far, though you would'nt notice yet.

That shed is a renovators dream...the reality shows would love it.

The only thing that could make that shitter better is a magazine rack and a side stand to put essentials like a roach clip, sunscreen an beverages. Just seeing that welcoming siren of a loo makes my pucker smile .speedneedle wrote:Thanks for the well-wishes, and come visit when you're in Vicco...

Fong and Braithy - I'm kinda busy, but if you guys want to get together and paint arseholes, it's a free world.
Started my new factory fit-out today...A disused servo on the road to 13th beach - space galore, a showroom...
And so cheap it's a sin.
My middle name is work.
