Should I get a fish?

Post by Chrisp » Sat Sep 27, 2008 1:30 pm

With summer coming up & my mini-mal getting more & more use, should I just get a fish instead? It looks like heaps of fun & something different when compared to wallowing around in slop, plus it doesn't feel like the wrong board when the swell picks up out there?

So should I?

And on a side topic does anyone want a Haydenshapes 6'5 Golden Gun, barely used, but if I'm getting a fish I might make some room in the board cupboard.......

I have a 6'4 Golden gun hardly used. I may sell it if you offered a good price, however Im not desperate to sell it coz its a very good board and close to new. I also had some of the best waves ever on it.

No don't get a fish. They suck :D

Fish are also great for guys who are lazy surfers and who don't want to improve their surfing.

They are great coz they make you feel like you are surfing well when you are in fact a total kook

Oh and they look cool too.

The Fish Brotherhood does not care for such minor quibbles ... we are above such wedge politics.

The Fish Brotherhood celebrates diversity, we are at a higher state of surfing evolution.

[quote="Ringmaster"]Fish are really agile and quick in the water therefore if you have a board with the same outline...............you'll be as nimble as one

I had a fish once , fancy looking tropical one went by the name of Puntius tetrazona . One day I put it in amongst a tank of garden variety gold fish ...................it got eaten !!

cmon the fish is fine.

fish are great for guys who can't catch waves or turn?

Isnt that mals? life really is to short to ride a longboard.

I see the primitive nature in everyone coming out. I remember hearing a comedian stating "why do they call it fishing, its really just tricking and killing"

Im not goint to fall into this trap you have all set.

Viva la fish

signed one lazy, wave hogging, waveless, turnless mullet.
