obviously really well going by that very nice slash of the captain's ...

I believe GH's local and international surf experience has him very in touch with how to make boards that go well in varying conditions, and I also find that a simple fin change is all that is needed ... the reason I have ridden GH boards for many years and only have a couple on the go at any point in time, is because they perform well, he knows what is required for the type of surf you are riding due to his first hand experience and his knowledge enables him to easily interpret and deliver the tweaks you are looking for ... plus he is a craftsman and really knows his stuff ...
nice pics captain ...

Nice stuff caveman and Butts.
Not sure whether I want to see a pic of myself surfing. Someone will get me one day. Hope I do better than TMC.

You're a goofy Shearer! Awesome work
Nice little cover up too.
Really like the first shot Mark, the guy looking at you has gotta be thinking 'bastard!'.

I've got no newies. But here's a few from last years run of swell.
Here's a shot that Butt's took at Wurtulla.
This is at my 2nd fav reef break up here, just lining up the trouble section.
And one the Tigress took on the very inside section at T Tree.

Couple of recent shots:
By Matt @ Sea Life
By Joel @ Saltmotion
A mate found this one on the net. Don't know who took it but it's Cronulla Point.
Shitty framegrabs from a recent trip

twas a wierd turn cause I ended up right on the buckle between Launching Pads and Speedies.
Glad I didn't catch a rail though.
Gotta go higher and further ...or delay and stay lower.

Nice one Steve...
Delay and stay lower is my usual plan of attack in similar situations. Maybe chuck in a kickstall to shave off some speed. Or maybe a reaaallly delayed bottom turn. You know, head way out in front of the face, arc it hard and come back to the wall with bugger all speed. Let it pitch and start your run from a standing start.
Throw in a sly nose-wipe or rearrange the downstairs furniture just to show how nonplussed you are by the whole situation.
That's what I'd do.
