Back at work today after about a month off..........

That combined with 2 surfs the last cupla days in a 4/3 and hood has made a recent Indo trip seem a long time ago even though I just got back on Saturday

Do yourself a favour and go on a boat trip with ya mates if you haven't already. Eight of us went on a good boat with a f##ken awesome crew and my only regret is that I waited till the age of 46 to do it. Was always put off thinking I don't wanna spend that sort of coin and surf (possibly) crowded waves. In the end we got great surf, crowds weren't even an issue and all the Zillas must have been watching the World Cup in Bali cause I shit you not, we didn't see ONE.

yep. it's me. never got down to 75kg, got down to 76kg for a bit. but have now stabilised at 78-79kg as have been surfing and eating lots more and bulked up a touch.

surfing's 'ok' in that pic. but the top-turn in that sequence felt a bit boggy. it's something i've gotta work on a bit i reckon. in bowls that drain out more it's never a problem. but when they're not drainy/pitchy my top-turns can feel a little obtuse.

Nup. Missed this morning. Staying home looking after a sick wife (tonsilectomy post-op and influenza) .. Fun stuff..

But yeah it would've been ok out there I imagine. Mix of lingering nor-East swell with a touch of south-swell that's starting to built.
