its not the traveller mate, its on hold til I get some time to get that done, hasnt even been shaped yet, good to know you are keen though, and when it eventually gets done, I'll let you know mate....
the fins might look large and I thought that too on the first one I did but this size in this position feels good, secure and drivey but still plenty loose without the arse wanting to slip or slide at all... its not the traditional ( or the most common that I found when researching ) fin placement but this is what feels best to me...the old school twins feel fast and free but too free in the tail, lack some drive and you have to nurse turns especially at high speeds or hollower sections, so these bigger fins in this placement have removed that...the extra tail plug is for a Nubbin mostly, which can be used for even MORE hold back in the tail...or the biggest fins can be reduced in size and surfed with the Nubbin for a different feel,( bit looser ( and Nubbin set for max hold as it is reversable )... its got a few options and I like options when they allow the board to be easily fine tuned for different performance, once you have tried a few combos, you know what you like and what waves you like that combo in...hand foiled fins only coming with this one ( for 2 reasons, the flex in the bigger fins adds a nice twang and liveliness and its impossible to find the right fin in a pre fab fin, even in the States where alot more crew still enjoy Twinzers, but with diff placements and board shape, they gotta be hand foiled and with an excellent fin foiler on hand, be mad not too )..... 8) I'll throw up some pics with Nubbin fin in tail later... 8)

lovin the feel of this Twinzer, its going great in 1ft waves and up to 4-5 ft waves...seems to be really versatile but I know it'll handle solid waves, it just holds but still turns well, super stoked on the fin set-up, whole board is feeling great....stoked.... :)

the 6'3" is quite a bit lighter than the thinner 6'0" and the 6'3" has 6 oz cloth, and the 6'0" has all 4 oz, really lovin the EPS stuff, going great and tuff too....think there's a Twinzer EPS coming for me real soon.... >><< 8)

What are the details of your personal Twinzer MP? What sort of bottom, tail, etc? :)

I am frothing over this one, been riding it non stop and lovin everything about it...its a round square tail , with a double concave the whole board, its subtle in the nose gets a bit deeper into the fins then its a dble concave/vee right at the tail, feels excellent, wouldnt change a single thing on this one..maybe make it a bit lighter, maybe try the EPS in exact same shape...the weight is due to the fabric inlay and 2 x 4 deck, it isnt heavy but I do like em light....I havent tried any fin changes, it feels right just the way it is...I can see I am gunna go on a big twinzer tangent for a while..years maybe...

In posession of my 6'0 Quadfather - the QFII - magic looking thing, same litres as the 6'3 but looks bloody close to identical tail and nose shape and witdh to the untrained eye, a lot fuller out to the rails, bloody thing needs to cure for a week .... can't wait... stoked with it

Got a super sexy set of hand-shaped foils equivalents of 3s and GX1000 Mark?? the rears are 70/30 foil which MP reckons will be the duck's guts

I have in my possession the very board P.T won the Huntington Pro on, not sure of the year, yet to do the research, but its assymetrical and so bloody light, think its early 80's, cant wait to ride it, will post some pics later... :D

love de fins mate, perfect foil imo, love the tip flex twang, best fins I have ever used are very much the same, got some super sweet Twinzer fins in same colour but its the foiling and the flex that I love...I gotta stop getting new fins all the time, I got so many, cant store em in any order, its a lucky dip in a few boxes when trying to find stuff, but then I stumble across something else, and then try it, and then a nother combo...fark I like fins.... 8)

Here's a shot of the altered fin setups (6'0 on top, 6'3 step-up underneath with black fins), Mark you want to explain the differences...?

we moved the rears a little bit towards the rail on the 6'0" ( orange ) to give you a little more stability and also to reduce the responsiveness just a little, being a smaller board and watching you surf several times on varied boards, I think a stabler drivier fin position would suit you on this smaller board. We have then gone for a custom set of fins to match the tweaked placement , usually I use dble foils on the rears but since this one has been pushed towards the rails, then we have gone a 70-30 foil, they are also a bit smaller fin in area , have kept the leading edge standard but really foiled the tip and back of fin and the have nice flex...these fins were also done in this size so as to work with the current set on the other board so they can be swapped and mixed around, should be several possible good combos there...been good working closely to be able to fine tune all the little things over a few boards....I reckon you'll love the orange fins, but might be a bit small on the 6'3" but keen to hear ya thoughts if you ride the 6'3" with the orange fins, especially in 2-3 decent waves.... 8)
