Never been there, however I used to go to Lord Howe Isl for work a couple of times a year. The local Lord Howe surfers told me that Norfolk does have waves and can get fairly good. Given the location and the swell activity that has been around of late I would be taking a board for sure. You may score good waves with no one out.Try www.wannasurf.com. Not sure if Nofolk is listed or not but worth a try.
Similar to Lord Howe in that respect. Also like Lord Howe it is open to the swell from any direction and visitor numbers are limited. Definitely take a board but you may be surfing alone.sparky_12 wrote:my dad used to live there, he showed me lots of pics and it does look like it has something. very sharky waters though

my parents lived there while my mum was pregnant with my older sister...
they werent planning on staying for the birth but they still got threats from people saying that they shouldnt have the baby there, implying the nurses may have an accident.........
(If the child is born there they are residents and can buy property and move in permanently)
im told there is really only one beach and that lord howe is alot better for waves, beachies and reefs.
whats this gig you speak of
