Hawaiian Airlines =BEWARE!

Just returned from a package deal to Hawaii. You know the one "Oahu and one other Island for the price of one"

Rang Hawaiian Airlines before booking as had been warned that they charge for boards. "No Charge" they said.

Sydney - Honolulu - Big Island (Hawaii) no
problems. Leaving Kona Airport (Big Island) for 30 minute flight back to Honolulu. $25USD for boards, or you don't fly!

Company policy they said. Paid the USD. Return from Honolulu to Sydney no charge. Beware!

At Honolulu airport in Sep 2000 on route to San Francisco (via American Airlines) we were delayed for 30 minutes with a "random" bag search for explosives....... and that was with 2 accompanying teenage children.

Pointless really - Sep 11 2001 still happened.

Although isn't Hawaiian Airlines safety record almost as good as Qantas' once was?
