Where to surf in December ?

Post by Kim24 » Sat Oct 28, 2023 5:48 am

Hello there, fellow surf enthusiasts!

I'm a newcomer to Realsurf, and I must say, thank you for the warm welcome. I wanted to seek your opinion, chaps, on a December destination where we can find some splendid waves, delectable cuisine to keep my dear wife content, and an added bonus would be a spot suitable for some sailing adventures. Ideal, wouldn't you agree, if we can have it all in one place ? Besides, I'm looking for a Sailing jacket, if you have some ideas to help me where to look, that would really help me.

K.

An island in the Caribbean, probably.

Sailing isn’t that good here.
Especially if the bar isn’t passable.

And terrible food options unless you go to Byron.

Come on….the RSL is supposed to awesome.
There’s a guy at Lennox that guides everyone out in the surf and he will even take them fishing.
Loves tourists and he takes them jogging too.

For December waves, consider Sri Lanka's east coast, like Arugam Bay, which offers great surf, delicious local food, and nearby lagoons for sailing. Another option could be the Algarve in Portugal, offering a mix of surf spots, culinary delights, and scenic coastal sailing. As for a sailing jacket, check out Musto, Helly Hansen, or Gill for quality gear that's both functional and stylish.

I thought Arugam Bay and East Coast was more of an option in our Winter. I was in Sri Lanka in April years ago and the west coast was the go.

Welcome to Realsurf! I suggest looking at South Korea, especially Busan. I visited last year in December and found impressive waves at places like Songjeong Beach. Also, it's a great place for those who love food because there is plenty of fresh seafood available. If you enjoy sailing, the sea near the coast provides very good chances. For a jacket to wear while sailing, looking at https://www.rei.com/ is a wise choice because they often have many options. If you ever require someone to guide you while visiting Korea, visit https://gowithguide.com/korea They offer customized tours that can enhance your journey. Best wishes for a great time surfing the waves :-)(
