So your general neck mobility exercises and stretches, shrugs, scap movements should help with that.
Just go easy on the fellatio for now...

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

Fellatio will not hinder your rehab from either position.

There used to be that rumour in the 90s that Marilyn Manson had his 12th ribs removed to improve his flexibility to self fellate.
Turned out to be bullshit I think.

And of course there was the Bill Hicks segment referring to why don't all women please their lovers.
Actually, uh, a woman one night yelled: “Yeah, did you ever try it?” I Said “Yeah… …almost broke my back.” It’s one vertebra, I swear to God, it’s that close. . I think that vertebra is gonna be the next thing to go in the next evolutionary step. Just a theory and a fervent PRAYER!

And now all the guys are going: “Honey I have no idea what he’s talking about. I think he’s a devil-child.” That may be true but guys… …yyyyyyyyyyou know what I’m talking about. I can speak for every guy here in this room tonight. Guys, if you could blow yourselves, ladies, you would be in this room alone right now, …watching an empty stage.

Thanks again, buddy. I’ll keep it in mind

And cheers to you too, skip

Little update. Got through the night without pain meds. Had my last slow release palexia this morning coupled with panadol. Only have 2 rapid release palexia left, but have panadeine forte if required

Swelling down a little today, probably thanks to buddy’s advice which I followed. Also did not do pm pendulum exercises yesterday as I thought that position + (minor) centripetal force may contribute to fluid. Have to keep it mobile so about to do them now. I’ve marked and measured my arm at 3 points to monitor swelling so hopefully it’s peaked. Called the surgeon’s rooms, but only spoke with reception. Told her what I was doing, but doubt she understood. All I got was swelling is to be expected and call back if it gets worse

Thanks to you all. I really hope this place remains an ongoing concern as it often produces gold

pendulum exercise would be beneficial if anything to getting rid of fluid.

As long as you don't swallow. Otherwise it's a zero sum effort.

And here’s me thinking the opposite was true. Isn’t that what we encourage from our womenfolk?

This knowledge is enlightening

Real question for you again, buddy, if you’d be so generous

My initial rehab exercise program is set for 6 weeks (2 down tomorrow) until I see a physio. It’s pretty rigid re range of movement, reps and weight baring (none). However, I’ve started to extend the first two parameters just a little without adding to pain or even real discomfort. Is this wise?

Feels like I’m doing good rather than harm and my only concern is if it’s due to internal sutures rather than muscular flexibility. I have thought the program may generally be tailored to older, less flexible folk, but the last thing I want is to fcuk it up
