October; Hawaii... Oregon to California... or Nova Scotia?

Wondering if there are surfable waves someplace you've never visited? Or have you had an injury and want to compare experiences? Do it here!

October; Hawaii... Oregon to California... or Nova Scotia?

Enlighten me! ... Please.

I'm am considering travelling to one of these destinations for a couple weeks from the 1st to 3rd week of October (2 weeks). I live in Western Canada. California would be a road trip, the others would be a flight. Originally this was going to be in September and the California trip, but I had to move the dates until October... which seems to open up more options on swell consistency.

October can be a transition month for most places however not saying you are not going to score.

Early NW swell Hawaii is possible.
Late SW swell Cali is possible.

If you want to surf warmer water, south of the border warm water option ? and still within the late swell season but maybe less crowds. If flexible , track storms / lows and make the call, Puerto Rico still not that far can offer early winter boardshort fun. On second thoughts , those points south of Oaxaca would be closer and warm water right hand point goodness.

Lets us know what you decide.
