Hips

Wondering if there are surfable waves someplace you've never visited? Or have you had an injury and want to compare experiences? Do it here!

Hips

Post by channels » Sat Feb 20, 2016 12:54 pm

So I have had this week off and surfed every day at least once. After about 4 days, hips were starting to hurt and after a full week, they ate really sore. I'm sure they will be fine with a couple if days rest. Normally I would surf 3-4 times in a week but often shorter sessions than this week.

Does this happen to anyone else?
I have a 10 day surf trip with some mates in May, and want to be as fit as possible to make the most of it.

Stretch & plenty of glucosamine, chondroitan, MSM, krill oil & tumeric.
What's the difference between Elizabeth Warren & Kamala Harris?

One's pretending to be an Indian & the others pretending she isn't!

If you are in Sydney go and see Dr Lawrence Kohan or Dr Michael Neil. Kohan did a resurfacing of my hip in 2011 and it has been superb ever since. Though of course either one will make sure whether you need one first.

I used the supplements Sunstroke mentioned above and they help alleviate the inflammation.
