Mentawais land base

Hey did mentawais s this year and stayed at lances for two weeks which was great.
Looking for somewhere land based with quality waves close by and budget.something that is comfortable and clean and supply good food.Word of mouth is always the best .

Word of mouth is best described as your mates telling you or a person you met in the surf and as described the use of ones mouth, quite different to starting a thread on an internet forum, it's more like, Shouting it from the roof top

I stayed at Awera Island a couple of years ago. It was owned by an Aussie, pretty low key and good value. Got some great waves and avoided the crowds until Telescopes and Scarecrows started firing.
