Re: How to protect wounds from infection
Hmmm?
I'll leave this one here for a while. Not sure if it's genuine or not.
I do know one thing though. I've NEVER got an infection from sea water when surfing with a cut or scratch, except when it is caused as I go out - by rocks on the water's edge.
I've always been of the opinion the infection comes from something on the rocks, not out in the water.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

If so, I've been using BLISTER PLASTER for months now, and it's totally made an improvement to my cuts and scratches. They heal so much faster now. I'm so much happier, I'm glad I found it. Thanks BLISTER PLASTER!!!

Re: How to protect wounds from infection
Excuse me, did you say BLISTERPLASTER?
Yes BLISTERPLASTER the always handy dressing available this week at only $39.99, yes that's right $39.99.
Dunno never used the stuff. Waterproof band aids seem to work okay but the problem is more specific to coral and the tropics I reckon. Antiseptic powder and so forth seem to help but if its humid and dirty and you keep getting a wound wet your pretty stuffed pretty quick. If you keep the dressing on it goes gummy as well.

Re: How to protect wounds from infection
I used Blister Plaster on a small clean cut on my finger & it caused it to become a huge infected ulcer that ended up giving me septicaemia. I was very lucky not to need my arm amputated. There is now litigation pending.

Okay this was really fuckin helpful! always known that Australians are douchebags and this only confirmed it.. <: <:
Re: How to protect wounds from infection
Wow the spammer's all upset at being called out. Thanks Blister Plaster!
Nice job there bowman.

Re: How to protect wounds from infection
Y'all realise that 'blister plaster' means, in our language, band aid? It's not a brand name, it's a generic reference to sticky things you put over your wound. So it's not product spam. Not surprised at the OP getting upset when criticised for totally the wrong reason.
Of course, research through Internet forums may not produce results that can be entirely validated.
(I know bandaid is in a brand, but using in the general sense)

Re: How to protect wounds from infection
Unless he's some Rain Man type with a fixation on band aids, his initial post was a bit suss, & that was only confirmed once he asked if anyone had any opinion on changing the packaging.
Maybe he really is interested in band aids & this is his thing, registering on various forums around the internet soliciting others' opinions on all things remedial first aid. If so, I'd like to offer him an apology on behalf of all you insensitive cnuts who have nothing better to do than belittle someone who is just trying to make a meaningful connection. You fcukers should be ashamed of yourselves.
