How to protect wounds from infection

Wondering if there are surfable waves someplace you've never visited? Or have you had an injury and want to compare experiences? Do it here!

I feel terrible....but band aids are still not that interesting even if you change their name.

I've met a couple of train spotters over the years. Can recite the timetables and stations to anywhere. I guess you would get a job on the railways if that was your thing. They actually need a few more.

Similar to my approach

1.(clean) Wash with bottled water, scrub if needed but only with something clean.

2. (disinfect) Squeeze and rub fresh lime juice into it (and let it dry)

3. (treat) Put a little Chinese medicine on it.

4. Keep it clean and dry for as long as you can, and if you go surfing and its still not scabbed repeat above.

If it real deep or open, better to miss a day or two than make it worse, im not a fan of covering wounds in the tropics, only if you have too, traveling etc.

IMO Chinese medicine is good but only treat once a day max, to often is not good.

Always works for me and my wounds heal up surprisingly quick.
