Thought I'd done a hip flexor, but doctor thinks I've torn my gluteus medius.
Doing sprints on the ergo.

Hurts like a bitch if I try and do...just about anything, add me to the biggest whinger poll.

Most annoying thing is that I actually warmed up properly and stretched, which I almost never do.

Almost exactly what I did, except 5 mins warm up and some very light stretches in the rest period.

3rd interval (I was doing 100m/15s) - twang

Didn't believe my self diagnosis or that of the first doctor so I saw another doctor then a sports physio.
actual injury is to the sacroiliac joint. The muscle stuff was a minor tear and a massive protective spasm.
