The shithole eastern euro resort we're going is higher than Courchevel and has several hundred kilometres of runs.
Courchevel is part of the 3 valleys You have clearly lost this.

Dont be such a cry baby and take your beating like a man. No one wants to hear you whimper.

Courchevel is great but I wouldn't particularly want to stay there. The prices are ludicrous and it's chockful of arseholes (present loofys excepted, of course). Also, as with Meribel, it doesn't have to try so it doesn't try meaning shitty two man chairs, those crappy bubbles with the slots for your skis outside and even the odd button lift. What's great about it is when it's bucketing down almost nobody goes out. Whenever I can ditch the kids on such occasions I'll burn over there and enjoy a few laps often completely alone

The problem with your casually adopted contrarianism is that, amusing though it may be, it’s so easily rebuffed. Google ‘bucketing down snow’ and you get at least two results from Australian websites on the first page alone

Let it go Steve, let it go.

Anyway, we always say it’s puking down when it’s snowing heavily.
