Plastic Skin

Post by lessormore » Thu Feb 10, 2011 12:24 am

Anybody use regularly or try the stuff in a small can to seal/ heal wounds and get back you in the water sooner?
My experience with it is it seals grazes and small cuts but may leave scars that take longer to disappear and when it gets into the hairs on your skin is like getting chewing gum out of carpet.
Any thoughts?
Just when you thought life couldn't get any worse-

I used to use it to cover up sea ulcers, it worked ok but dunno if it helps heal at all, my only reason was to prevent more salt into the wounds.....and it sticks and you can find remnants 6 months on.....
