"No matter what happens; it will always be alright".
if the swell is small from the south go to cudgen on tweed coast. Also TOS picks up most swell and if you cruise down the beach away from the crowds it can be great. good on south swells but handles most directions. gets super hollow and punchy even when tiny. better wave than d'bah with less pros. (whew) see if you can swing a few days at North Straddie. Main Beach picks up all swell (every little bit) and is clean on Nor-easter which tends to blow out the goldie. catch a ferry from cleveland outside brisbane. about 70 dollars return for a car load of crew. heaps of camping room. beautiful place. if there is a small swell and you want to surf the points try outside sharkies at burleigh. Very tip of the cove around to tallebudgera. goldy should have something about this time of the year. if not there is always the girls of surfers paradise
