The Cribber is heralded as the UK's big wave surf spot. It renowned for its volatility, ferocity and power, only tackled by experienced surfers, this dangerous reef can produce wave faces of 30ft plus!!

Thats respectably large, I'spose...

I enjoyed a quick tour of that coast in 2001, but did'nt get it that big... Always the way hey!

Loved the wee English villages. Porthleven, Penzance, St. Agnes, Newquay, Bude...Could almost picture the clanking cages they used to hang pirates in to rot, called a "gibbet." Hey thats a scarier name, the "Gibbet" instead of "Cribber"...

Like Steve says, don't be afraid to say who you are...it goes down better.

Funny you should say that, there is a rock bearing the family name that used to be used by the er,,family who used to lure ships onto it at night to wreck em and steal the booty.

There's a slabby right just a bit further inside this which is pretty good on occasion..
