Hey Will,
I like the concept, I saw a similar set up for a Portuguese surf mag recently. They were using something different to Zinio though - it was more embedded on their site - not a third party platform, as a result you were actually able to click on the ads and go through to the sites of the advertisers - thats getting pretty close to offering print advertisers the full package IMO.
Thwere's an app called Pinwheel I think that allows you to download and view mags on your IPOD which is pretty good as well.
