I have created a website called www.mysurfworld.com and it provides accommodation and information for every ASP rated surfing event around the world. I created this for competitors, spectators and surfing enthusiasts. I also have professional surfers consistently posting blogs on there about there competitions and posting videos. I provide all the information you will ever need for ASP events. So go on and check it out and let me know what you think about it. All positive and negative feed back is all appreciated.

I don't understand clif. Are you writing my site off? I competed on the WQS circuit full time for 5 years and would have loved a site like this when i was traveling cause it was so hard to find accommodation in some more remote areas that hold competitions. What do you not like about it?

I never even thought their would be enough interest in the ASP to even warrant such a site. Really? There are enough people who care about competitive surfing to spend coin to travel to see it? Besides Pipe? I would have thought if anyone wanted to follow a comp they would go to the comp site online or the ASP site itself. Isn't it better to avoid where contests are going to be if you are traveling? I am surprised that you found statistics supporting such a demand.

actually i like the site

it seems have a more real/less hyped feel too the "many" other sites feeding off the asp- the info is up date...the interviews and blogs a good read

the accomadation selection is a great plus...very handy
you could consider a equipment section as well and interview a riders shaper
but yeah....i'm with ya cliff....the last place on earth i wantasurf is with the top 44 in the water

I like it.

I think you should focus more on the amatuer/qs market which you seem to be doing (noticed a lot of gezza/kd boys there). It's just that in terms of travelling surfers, these would be the ones who would require your services the most. Most CT competitors have accom organised by sponnos etc. whereas the QS boys do a lot of their own organising.

All up I think it's a good site, and provides a good service.

Just a few tips mate.

Perhaps organise the profiles in alphabetical order, or order them in terms of their competition, then alphabetically.

Eg.

WCT
WQS
Junior
Freesurfer

Also perhaps there should be a checking system when making a profile. Because if it happens that Dr. Clifford is wrong, then there may be heaps and heaps of 13 year old kids claiming to be Kelly, which then ruins the sites credibility.

the accom giude is good cause it's there for everyone

you don't need be on tour use it and it offers budget too $$$ options

it loads quick and isn't cluttered with shit

I used to live at Gezza TMC and now live at Yamba. I still ride for Werri boardriders in the teams event cause I grew up down there. We actually just won the Jim Beam national surf tag.

Ive tried to keep the accommodation simple and allow people to deal directly with the accommodation to avoid any mis communication in booking places. The surfer profile section isnt a drama with frauds cause i generally keep a close eye on who is adding profiles and whats being put on there. And im pretty sure Kelly slater will never put a profile up there so if one is done I will know its a fraud.

I have quite a few regular bloggers which is good for a read. Some things arent working properly at the moment cause I just got the site upgraded and there are a few glitches I have to work on.

Im loving all of the feedback. Please keep it coming. And will work on the category thing with the profiles to make it easier to check them out.
