I swore parklife was going to be my last festival, but it might be hard to let such a good lineup pass me by.

pfft, I wouldn't be seen dead at one of those showpony, single day, hold your hand, everything provided for you "festivals".

However, the following are highly recommended for getting loose at 8)

http://www.earthcore.com.au/ Earthcore Global Carnival 24-26 Nov - Vic / 1-3 Dec - Qld

http://www.woodfordfolkfestival.com/main/index.html 27 Dec - 1st Jan - Qld - Great for families and those who love their jazz, folk & blues

http://www.oztrance.com/viewtopic.php?t=24991 Tribeadelic Festival 30 Dec - 1 Jan - Vic

http://superfreakykinky.info/ Superfreakykinky 5th - 7th Jan - NNSW

http://www.grooven.net/festival/ Exodus Festival 12th - 14th Jan - NNSW

http://www.rainbowserpent.net/ Rainbow Serpent Festival 10th anniversary. 4 day party - Australia day long weekend - Vic

http://www.maitreyafestival.com/ Maitreya Festival - Their 1st one, but looks to have the goods plus profits go to WWF, Wildlife Warriors, World Vision amongst others. 16th - 19th Feb - Vic

http://www.akashafestival.com/ Akasha Ferstival 3 day open air tribal gathering 23rd - 25th Feb - Vic

That should keep you busy over the summer

^^^ Nice list of festivals snakes...!

I totally agree with you on the whole one-day festival thing... There's nothing like the feeling of getting totally immerssed in a festival. It can be like an alternate reality... Though that feeling doesn't usually really kick in untill about day three or so... :)

So which festivals are you going to??

I have tickets to Rainbow, but might trade them in for Maitreya & Akasha so I can do 2-3 weeks down in Vicco (with a spot of surfing in between :D )

huh? why are you complaining. if you're in the states - go see peeps of this quality, but on their home turf. it's far better than seeing them doing a big commercial tour.

HAHA, saw the terms Good vibrations, WWF and Chamberess.

Thought of something sexual rather than music fest.
