Just checked this out. Awesome. I can see my backyard and i reckon i found an epic barreling left in a bay at 4 26 45.05 S and 159 23 46.38 E. Check it out. Such cool technology.

Check out Angourie 29 28' 55.03" S 153 22' 00.23" E
and Bronte Reef 34 54' 16.66" S 151 16' 10.93" E

Ah yes , endless hours of fun. I'm all googled out now but I used to get an atlas and look up the longitudes and latitudes in the back. Just key them in and you can find almost anything. I found Mavericks, Jaws, Pipe and heaps of other surf spots, plus heaps of great non surf spots, Mt everest, Disneyland/s, Cape Canaveral rocket base, and even found Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch. Tip for the older set, really good for daughters geography assignments to have aerial shots of regions.

No it's not ever been Crossed. And it's far from being all by its little self out there in the Chilean desert wilderness.CARPARKKING wrote:that PNG wave looks sick very quick but. All ya need aside from the co-ordinates is:
a) a lot of time on your hands
b) enough money to get there and buy a reliable 4WD, camping gear, heavy duty first aid kit, and about half a tonne of food and water (no fresh water at all along that coastline)
c) satphone etc in case of trouble
d) a lot of spare boards
e) a friend or two in Chile to escort you
Cake!
Was in Chile last year. Think I know the exact wave you are talking about. Havn't been into google earth to check but if its the same wave im thinking of I can add:
Bring ya tent coz there is nowhere to stay anywhere near the wave. If you get it right it will be the longest wave you have ever surfed and you will probably surf it all by yourself.
