To go back in time and catch all the go-able waves I pulled back on, and paddle out in all the surfs I trembled before and walked away from.

Go back 100 yrs & buy a couple of kms of beachfront land & beach up the north coast for $100 & fence it all off so I could have it for just family & mates :D

To take 50 boards back 200 years and surf all the nice breaks by myself before anyone figured out how to surf them, no jet-ski assists, no flags, only people dropping in are from the 1st fleet........Screw you Cook, throw a cuttie at his boat,

Also I'd need a couple of steamers, fibreglass repair kits, fins (both for the lids and the surf boards) uummm wow you've opened up heaps here.

I see one of the big downsides is the lack of bikini's, but hey for quiet waves it's a sacrifice I'm willing to make.

Failing that I agree with Lucky AI, to be able to go for all the waves I've ever pulled back on

i don't want for much.....just half a dozen artificial reefs custom built to suit various swell directions on various LNB and about 50% of my fellow surfers to give it away and take up golf !

Haven’t you ‘shared’ enough waves with your brother yet?

Frankly ... no.

It would be a lot easier if we could just get totally pitted going either way, though, instead of just figuring out new ways to do a closeout re-entry

actually dino, there is something weirdly similar between the peak and the OTW stretch ... similar paddle-out distances, wayward waves breaking off the one spot in the reef ... or is it that they're both s**thouse?

ahh you know you'll go with anything when you're a grom. Wonder who'll wish they were 13 y-o again in this thread ... so many incredible waves ahead of you!

I surfed newport peak maybe 10 times and I reckon its exactly like backdoor and pipe. Of course I was totally spent on datura at the time, which made the locals look like the da hui. Fred Hemmings was right to back down and see the light.
