yeah aggravating when it should have been perfect conditions for that stretch to turn it on. banks have been sad for a fair while now 'eh.

yeah macca I ended up at curly was pretty ordinary and not getting the lines that were coming through. probably should have checked bower but assumed it'd be busy.

The whole Manly - Queenie stretch was straight-on close out city this morning, like you say. Infuriating.

The Howard government should do something about it. 8)

anyone that lives out of syd, will agree that it has the WORST waves on the east coast. can anyone tell me when anywhere on the south side between bondi and the bra doesnt close out?!! and if it is good(few times a year) its packed to the rafters, and 90% kooks. sure there are a few good breaks north side, but in general its forever onshore or theres no swell. i dream of the day i move back to the north coast...........

Yeah it was closing out at the bra. Unfortunate given the quality of the swell. Just beautiful to be out there.

As for anyone living out of Sydney blah blah ....... I don't agree. I reckon the east side beaches are pretty good set ups. Don't confuse the crowd factor with the wave/beach quality.

I was recently up the coast enjoying waves but guess what, the banks were shit. Most of the east coast that hasn't had rain recently (that excludes you Johnno) are probably the same.

Calling Sydney beaches shite. tsk. Like shooting fish in a barrel
