I must admit I've wondered what's going on with Tracks. I mean by all means support the local surfers, but every time I open the mag I seem to see Koby Abberton in it.

Am I missing something?

my guess is that since tracks is owned by a internationally listed publishing company they imperative is to fill the mag with ads from the big three, fill it with stories/photos/surfers associated with the big three, promote the pro circuit more and generally do what it takes to make a lot money

quality of the stories and the 'essence of surfing' rate further down
