The orange buoys are used by the dumb arse spectator boats as moorings and by the dumb arse photo boats to mark the Edge of Reason. :roll:

On big days, on wide big sets, tied off craft can be pulled underwater on the shoulder!

It's a show in itself. They watch the surfers, the surfers sit in the lineup and cry with laughter watching THEM.
