My son is down at Meadowbank pretty much every waking moment when he's not at school. I'll be taking him down there again tonight - with my daughter riding her bike around the paths and me on my '86 retro board. I'll just stick to cruising; not way I'm getting in the bowl on that death machine!

OK so around 90 is medium hardness and good for all round stuff?
And just go for mid size around 55mm?

Yep, when all I did was street it was 60mm 90a powell cross bones. My current board has 101a 56mm minilogo things which seem ok. Fine on ramps anyway. Bit clattery for street

90a about right for what she’s after. And size also sounds about right. Though still recommend calling basement skate. Them dudes know their stuff.
