otway is back found my way back into this bin of iniquity ,

although I now live in Austria and have taken the Aussie attitude to,river surfing in. the Alps.
Standing river waves, not tidal bores like in France or elsewhere.
I, when I recover how to submit photos again will post some pictures.
No wukkas cancer didn’t kill me nor did the post op heart issue, so I am fully raging!

Very cool. Check out the tilt-up caged propeller at the stern.
...and (what looks like) the paddle on the bonnet.

Yes the Schwimmwagen is very adaptable, you can lower the huge propellor with an iron rod, if you have the proper knoble tyres they too provide power and finally the paddle, the whole unit is powered by a genuine VW 1.2 liter motor, just like the Beetles our children were conceived in
They hold a yearly regatta with at least 60 from all around Europe, along with amphicars which an Aussie chemist used for deliveries around Ettalong

It certainly is, a long way from that coffee, my wife is half Austrian, half Scots, so we decided to launch my European Atlantic surf campaign for a central position, I knew there was river surfing in Munich, and figured i might find a river of my own, fug, there are five regular surf spots within a half hours drive, so Iam photographing and videoing Centris with river waves and rabid surf crew Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, Slovakia France, Russia, and Grooter you can check out the river waves in any US state and Canada with mountain rivers.
