Adam Robbo squeezed in 5 full power turns on the left.
I guess it was the turns setting.

Any boogers?
One booger in our session, he got a wave in the first set then saw him near the entrance of the pool talking with the life guard and didn’t come back. Crossy getting saved in a wave pool??

Every wave of the set was different, which I wasn’t expecting. Some rides were much longer than others.

And they only ran the barreling waves for the last few sets.
I preferred the advanced turns setting over the short barrel.

Looks like the plunger up in qld is better. Although id like it see some non promo raw footage from customers to see what its really like.

The Tulla tub looks a short fun wave. What makes it good is the number of waves you can get. Steve wrote that he rode 42 waves in two hours. You are not going to get that at the beach.

Pretty sure gstq claimed to get 40 in a sesh and much longer than Tulla.

But that’s in Wales. Wouldn’t get that in oz

There was a couple when I was there. Didn't look like they were having anywhere near as good a time as the surfers

I don't think the wave has enough power in it for a boog to do their usual flapping and spinning comedy routine - not that I would know though, I haven't ridden a lid since I was 12 years old

I swung past the tub today on the way home from the airport. Didn’t surf, just watched from the entrance.
Quite a scene with tanned, barrel chested surfers all about. People coming and going in taxis with boards, suggesting people are flying in for a surf.
There was sunshine and an offshore on it making the waves look very nice. Think I’ll have to give it a try one day.

Yeah, there was a guy on the left on a booger getting some nice rides.

Waco, texas wavepool is a much better creation of man made waves. Wedges, barrels, bowls and ramps.

The creative thing about Waco is that they didn’t seem constrained by thinking they should closely mimic regular ocean waves.

Wouldn’t you achieve the same effect by running through a wet field and flopping onto your tummy at random intervals? Save yourself a bit of cash on equipment too

To tell the truth eggs are one thing I avoid buying when I’m grocery shopping. So you may say I’m an intermittent egg buyer who usually lets someone else buy them.

My son is heading down there for a solar energy conference sometime soon. He plans on giving the Waco tub a go. Will report back.

Later the same day of Coops' post when the pool was open exclusively to boogers:
