Nah out of 10 for surf forecast. Bells gets 8 stars tomorrow around 7am. What are the locals saying?
Who fcuking cares. I didn't see too many of 'em out at Winki just then and it was smoking. Making Bells look silly.

I can tell you this, at 9.30am the Cape Sorell buoy off Western Tasmania spiked from 7 to 14 metres max wave height at 16 seconds. Sig wave height went similarly double, 4m to a bit over 8m.

The buoy is somewhere between 5 and 6 hours off the mid west coast of Vicco.

So look at this joint later this arvo for a true reading on what this fetch will deliver.

I bet tomorrow morning early is off its fcuking head.
Tomorrow will be epic. Theres still a bit of double up with the fading earlier swell, that'll be gone. Wind will be lighter more NW, plus late morning low tide.

Callinan, yes.....but Slater? He looks boggy and off-timing to me.

Was more the stark contrast between him getting belted by going for the lip vs his opponent who dodged such opportunities every time

Drailed, do you realise they don't show the live broadcast on the website anymore?
que?

I've been watching it the whole time, on the app and the site

This is the buoy in Bass Strait too: http://www.vicports.vic.gov.au/communit ... ather.aspx

That's over 5 metres on average hitting the SW facing beaches like Gunnamatta and Johana. Right now. Bells would be about 4 metres or thereabouts

On the ipad, I get the opening ad but then no live broadcast on the site.
Swellnet or facebook work. I don't have the app.

Some solid ones starting to come through.

There’d be some more protected spots down the coast that would be absolutely cranking.

I am absolutely enjoying the hell out of this day at Bells with the overlapping heats.
Really? You don’t think, entertainment-wise, it’s a bit...um... abysmal? Without jjf this would be thoroughly unwatchable

JJF just nailed a closeout hack on a 10 footer in front of the Winki button - that's f*cking superhero surfing.
