Moderators feel free to move this thread to somewhere more suitable, i was just unsure as to where to post this, maybe in the general offtopic 8)

Anyways, my name is Andy, im 26 years of age, have been surfing for a good 12 years. I reside in sydney, my local break is Mona Vale but as a surfer has it ill surf anything that is working well at the time.

Ive had the past couple of years off from surfing which im really kicking myself now for doing, I got too caught up in work and forgot to live my life, but that has changed now. I have been back into it for a couple of months and feel very sketchy and not feeling the board like i used to, but its just awesome to get out there and feel the power of the ocean once again.

Im also a skateboarder, have been skating for about 16 years.

I also have wasted all my money on cars too ;)

Thats about all for now, see you guys on the forums!

It gives you something to look forward to! Maybe inspire you to be sick one day when the swell has picked up :)

I surf at Monavale, that would be my "local break" ive been surfing there for many years. Gots to love the rocks, sandbanks and seaweed Mona provides :)

Have just purchased a new board from hayden at haydenshapes, should take delivery of it in 2-3 weeks! Cant wait for that, im freakin amped!!!:)

As i said hayden is custom making this shortboard for me:

6'4 x 18" x 2.5"

Pretty sure thats the decision we came too, anyways i just said my height and weight and that i want a board i can throw around in the surf, do 720 degree slides and 30 foot high airs and for the board to be fast! :) hehe

Im 6 foot tall and weigh 84kg.

The board is pretty much the same dimensions as the board im riding now but alot more responsive and hopefully quicker. Im riding a town and country 6'4 atm.

Anyways its been a long time coming, been wanting a new board for a while but have been putting too much money into cars and crap like that, bought time i got my priorities right :D

18 pretty narrow for syd mush me reckons. but reckon hayden know more than me.

hope you feel energetic to get it moving, not much planing area here. i'm a lazy bastard and go short and wide 5'11, 191/2. nice wide pod too - 141/2.

just think about how that resiny smell from your board is going to be as you finger its curves. mmmmmmmmm

My current board is the same width and i have no problems so im not to worried, and this board will out perform this one (my current board has a couple of small dings 1 or two letting some water in). I guess when i go for a wave i go all out, paddle my ass of and kick and scream until im on it, i can make up some good distance on the water if needed :) Basically i want a board to really throw around and get loose with, so i want a light weight narrow board but still float me :)

Yup cant wait to take delivery of it, so i can go home and hug it all night :)

So where is everyone else from, who surfs the northern sydney beaches!
