There are a few breaks in NZ with access over Maori land. In the past if you approached the owners and asked for permission you'd be allowed to cross. However a lot of pakeha surfers didn't respect this arrangement and effectively trespassed without permission - which lead to problems at some breaks.
Albatross is impossible to get to by land without permission. But if you're friendly with the local community you can get access. I don't see why a bunch of entitled pricks with jetski's should get a pass.

Yeah they should be shot. Especially the 14 year olds.

Hah - just re read that - I wasn't referring to anyone's grandma in particular - I was also thinking of saying sister or cousin or sheepdog or alpaca or something about a dead man's dick. Anything to offend New Zealanders really.
