you wouldn't happen to have a board i could borrow if we go for a surf together next month would you steve? any old thing will do, i'm not fussy - just as long as i don't get eaten by a shark and come back in one piece to my family i'll be happy.

This whole Corona sponsorship thing seems wrong to me. Reminds me of that part in Boyz n the Hood where Furious takes Tre and Ricky down to Compton and lectures them on the street corner.

How you think crack gets into the country? We don't own any planes. We don't own no ships. We are not the people who are flying and floating that shit in here. Every time you turn on a TV, that's what you see. Black people selling the rock, pushing the rock. Yeah, I know. It wasn't a problem when it was here. Wasn't a problem until it was in Iowa... and on Wall Street where there's hardly any black people. If you want to talk about guns... why is it that there's a gun shop on every corner here? Why? I'll tell you why. Just like there's a liquor store on every corner in the black community. Why? They want us to kill ourselves. You go out to Beverly Hills, you don't see that shit. They want to us to kill ourselves. The best way to destroy a people is to take away their ability to reproduce. Who is it that's dying out here on these streets every night? Y'all. Young brothers like yourselves.

See what I'm starting to think is the World Surf League actually wants us surfers to kill ourselves.

yes I did Al, it was a vigourous paddle but worth it.

I've got stacks of boards you can choose from.

A white shark set off the Lennox listening buoy this morning but it didn't seem a concern.

I surfed mid-late morning, the sweep had backed off a touch compared to early.
still a good paddle.

I doubt Godsave would have caught a wave.

Even some Lennox Head experts have a failure rate of 99%, steve. Some go whole years without catching a single wave

To tell the truth eggs are one thing I avoid buying when I’m grocery shopping. So you may say I’m an intermittent egg buyer who usually lets someone else buy them.

When are you going to get serious about your life Godsave, quit the mud running and come down under?

You won't need a cent, every where you go there will be someone waiting with a friendly face.

ha ha this is hilarious

last night the WSL published kind of a mea culpa for screwing up the Facebook feed. Among other statements they said Oh we are going to re-instate the live feed on our website. Kind of a #floptus move

So I just tried to do it and -- yup, doesn't work.

and the FB feed seems fcuked up again! I'm off it, going surfing again

I’m visiting a place that has Foxtel.
Watched the proceedings on a big TV with a glass of red and some dark chocolate.
Might do that again to night.

Double pump bottom turns. Urgh. They should get points deducted under the flow criteria.

On a positive note, there seems to be a lot less claiming these days. Maybe the hierarchy has told them to stop being cocks.

i've found trying to spot sharks and imagining contestants suddenly getting taken helps pass the time during long lulls.
