Any surf shop should carry those or Webby or use futures ones as NC said.
You must have some spare boards you can Borrow a few grub screws from ?
Future and FCS are different diameters AND different threads. They are not interchangable
Well they fit my Fusionboxes.
They have a different diameter, thread profile and number of threads per inch, just put them side to side and you can see the difference.

What you are doing when you interchange them is rethreading/recutting the plastic base. There is not much thread there to start with and this weakens it significantly as it recuts the thread. You will not get nearly as many fin changes once you interchange them.

If it was not plastic but a brass or steel base you would see my point immediately if you attempted to interchange them.

yes im aware of the profile and threads per inch, fortunately i do not change fins once i have a set dialled in to a particular board only in and out for o.s. travel prob twice a year
i do have a secondhand board that had Futures grub screws in Fusion boxes ,a tiny crack had formed top of thread to box edge ...touched it up with a soldering iron fused the crack ...few yrs on still holding together.

Most, if not all insurance policies don’t cover you for scooter accidents unless you have a bike license here. A lot of cunts don’t know that. Hence the endless go fund me campaigns.

You taking the hood, Steve?

Just got some from a lovely hipster boy and girl at surf shop in Byron, the old Maddog factory.
Buck a throw.
Butt-fucked by a hipster. You didn't think of trying a fastenings shop ? You know, people who specialise in fastenings ?

Heaps cheaper, and higher quality than surf shop produce.

Don't know what to think: CW and Swellnet saying 6-8ft......Magic SW saying 3-5.
Barely anything showing on Surf-forecast.

My call based on watching the Indian Ocean charts obsessively over the last 2 weeks is 3-4ft with some straggly bomb sets in the 5-6ft range.

This is for Wed.

Have a good time up there steve, hope you get a couple of the straggly bomb sets

There’s been a lot of sea state down in the engine room so anything coming off a well angled wind will probably have a little bit more going for it than first appears.

Thanks Nick, I feel really unfrothed by it.

Like really happy to sit and wait and hope for a good one, rather than get in the fray and try and get my wave count/bang for buck up.

Just hanging on the boat with a Bintang and my bribie brothers, real and surrogate will be worth the trip.

It's amazing to me, after now pouring over charts and maps just how little I knew about the Mentawaiis, despite the full glare of the media spotlight being on it for 20+ years. I feel a lot more spatially prepared now, even though I've never laid eyes on it.

Aren't you going?

This looks pretty reasonable.

I remember being amazed at the location of Lances Right. When you look at where that reef is, most swells have to refract almost 180 degrees to get in there as it faces back toward Sumatra. Some weird bathymetry going on there for that spot to be any kind of swell magnet.

Yeah, been tracking that fetch for days now.

It moves pretty rapidly through the swell window, but looks pretty juicy on ASCAT.

Looks like the more S in the swell the better for HT's.
