I thought kulharin was in Canada. 6½ hours if so. But I agree, I'd rather go to Hawaii.Nick Carroll wrote: ↑Mon Jan 01, 2018 11:32 amk all the good shit is south of Puerto in sth swell season
re Ensenada etc, it's all about winter, ie Dec-Feb, there are some good to (in one case) excellent right points and a bunch of beachies etc between there and the US border, you just gotta watch the forecast.
4-5hrs would fly you to Hawaii, why torture yourself with Baja?

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

If we could only get definitive proof that the earth is indeed flat, then wouldn't that cut down on the flying time ?

Maybe, but this is definitive proof that Realsurf is the premier website when it comes to valuable surf tips

Hawaii is two flights for me and usually 50 percent more expensive to fly, as well as a lot more expensive when you get there for food, car rental and accommodation. But yes I will make it there again sooner or later.

Kulharin, I've spent a fair bit of time in that area surfing the waves you mention.
I've been there late winter surfing predominantly NW groundswells and had favourable wind conditions.

So that would be March? Is it true the water is quite a bit cooler that time of year?
Re: Good month for Baja Sur - Pacific West Coast
No, seawater is always warmest at the end of winter.
Mind you, the closer you get to the equator the later the seasons are. So down near Ensenada it is still summer until the ides of March.

Maybe northern winter south of the equator that’s true...
Re: Good month for Baja Sur - Pacific West Coast
Well good luck Kulharin, onya for getting to new places to explore.
Re: Good month for Baja Sur - Pacific West Coast
And make sure you watch out for the offshore seabreeze and the orthographic rainfall in the flat areas.

We're lonely, drunk and retarded, so. There's at least one serial killer amongst us, a magpie murderer, an epoxy pop out aficionado,a clubbie tragic, a smelly fisho, an asthmatic pommy mud-runner, a Taylor Swift fanboi,....
