Sad news. Got my first new surfboard from his shop at Kirra. MP Ski Free Model.

I love that he had a bit of a Renaissance in his later years. He deserved it.

I remember his ad in SW in 1969......,"If you want a bloody lolly go somewhere else....we build real surfboards for real surfers."
