Best option for first father/son indo trip?

Post by Gumby » Sat Jun 10, 2017 5:28 pm

Advice on best spots for competent 12 year olds first Indo/Bali outing?
Peak season usuals or shoulder/off season secrets? Land or boats, don't care.
Perfect 3-4 ft walls. Bit of barrel practice thrown in. Low crowds. I'm asking for the impossible I know. Just suggest the closest thing.

Thanks Saltman!
Plenty of easy and cheapish accomodation options? Happy to rough it, as long we're not kidnapped by rabid monkeys.

PM if you want some info on uncrowded waves. I'm not going to broadcast it in the general surf discussion area.

It'll stay showing in your outbox until the recipient picks it up. Then it'll show in Sent which is how you'll know it's been received.

You aren’t the room Yuke You are just a wonky cafe table with a missing rubber pad on the end of one leg.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

I suggest you check the Telos islands and ideally from a boat not a camp as they are very expensive. 2 years ago went there with Sumatran Surfaris and there was a father and son team on board. The father was an older guy and the Telos did had mellower 3 - 4 foot waves and some days the father would surf with his son sharing waves and hooting at each other. It was epic seeing a dad and his son sharing waves and debriefing the days over some cold beers, gold.

go do it,

cheers
J
