steve just while we're waiting for bells to start what are your thoughts on dostoevsky's execution? and do you think a mock execution would help jordy improve his surfing?

Did you think Seabass deserved the 10 for that barrel at Nth Pt?

Pete Mel definitely creamed himself in the audio.

I didn't watch the day to see the score in context, but probably yes.

Well I'm more a fan of Orwell frankly, so let's go with the rat.

Usual emphasis on the female surfers. Classic run on the ABC with discussion of those crazy guys surfing 80ft waves, heroic Tyler Wright...and Owen.....followed by Virginia Trioli saying surfing was on her bucket list.

Looks like the waves are going to be quite good Monday onward as the tide bottoms out later in the mornings, wont be big though.
Looking into my crystal ball I see an epic session at beacon on Sunday morning, that would be better to watch than any heat in the contest.

Don't forget your goPro ;).
There was a few times when the wind got up a bit too N or NE that they've been over to Beacon haven't they? I don't think the current administration like moving much for bells though.

Here is my ranking of the WSL venues.
It's based on the average standard of waves and entertaining surfing at these venues during WSL heats over the last few years e.g. This year, Snapper had a lot of great waves and interesting surfing. It usually doesn't.

Cloudbreak
J-Bay
Pipeline
Teahupo'o
Margaret River
Bells
Snapper
France
Trestles
Portugal
Brazil

Well yeah they aren't going to move it are they, that is why it will be better to watch as it will be free surfing :)

I wont be there buddy, tend not to surf over the Easter period.

I'm getting worried that our great Stud Nick Carroll is going to be spending too much time skivving off surfing at Bells instead of employing a laser focus to cover the event for us the readers.

You aren’t the room Yuke You are just a wonky cafe table with a missing rubber pad on the end of one leg.

I still don't buy the "official" narrative about 9/11. Oh sure, it happened, fcuk yeah. But who and why and how I'm, not convinced it was what we've been told.

and when he's not in the ocean, he's going to be too busy looking absolutely fabulous in his new 3/4 pants and red scarf ensemble.

we need some way of tracking him in real-time. What about an ankle bracelet/GPS that delivers an electric shock each time he goes surfing for more than half an hour.

I would drop J Bay down a couple of spots. I love the wave, but watching pros triple pump 5'9"s around sections they should be murdering on a 6'2" makes me want to put my fist through the computer screen

And lol at anything below Snapper, ain't no body got patience for those events in stupid timezones
