Those airs by Toledo were dogshit compared to the highly technical methods Julian Wilson gets low 8s for.

just went and watched the heat analyser.

I counted 10 wickwack spaz out half turns from Filipe before he did his first turn. The airs were nice but by god the flow was diabolical and that is part of the criteria.

Round one's such a hoax. About a third of the guys really try, but most of them are gonna lose anyway. The best guys either put together a super sharp pro heat (like Kolohe did) or just tend to throw a coupla things at a coupla waves just to see if they'll stick then go from there. If you scrape a 10 from the judges in this round, you're doomed.
