Just came off 10 days of cortisone for my shoulder/neck that was giving me grief after every surf, the pain is back immediately. It's off for some acupuncture and back on the pills and an MRI in a couple of weeks, glad the surf is absolute crap.

Yeah might get it stitched tomorrow. Can’t be fucked tonight. Happened first wave second go out today. Held up in the lip on takeoff then cartwheeled. Stayed out for another hour as it didn’t hurt much. Got a cracking left last wave in the hobbled up the beach, it started stinging like fuck soon as I came in
When I was still out in the line up I pulled a piece of stray fat from the wound and nibbled a little

He's gonna need to be careful..
Guy up here just lost the lower part of his leg after picking up an infection in dirty water surf. Infection took hold and was uncontrollable within 3 or 4 days.

Absolute maximum 24 hours Hatchy, after that the skin on the edges starts to die off and it will be difficult to stitch.
Google “time limit on wound suturing”
Also emergency starts getting busy around 2am Monday with all the people who had things happen on the weekend but tried to put it off.
Sunday evening may not be too bad at emergency.
