Heard that. Pretty fcuking lame sounding historic cliche. Not many surf writers at the abc news desk.

Pretty fickle wave by the looks. Like to see it with way more north in the swell.

Great. First it was Surfie C and Fong, now this.
Next thing we know you two'll be opening a surf camp at Byron.

no shearer will have to flee the north coast when this news gets out. And god save isn't exactly going to be toast of the county in Wales now is he.

They'll be off in Sri Lanka, running a small guest house. shearer will work with the local fishermen to bring back the best of the fresh catch for GSTQ's famous turmeric scented fish curries. Guests will be encouraged to wear saris and talk in whispers. I'm fcuken going! Who's with me?

well that's me out then. I demand flesh of some kind whenever holidaying in a small yet sophisticated Indo/European resort

Oh there'll be flesh. While veganism will pare shearer down to a wiry switchblade, I shall be a gloriously buttery man mountain, all mine host bonhomie yet viciously bitchy to a fault behind closed doors.

Whose winning and losing this thing anyway? Haven't bothered to watch a single heat yet (hi Brian)
