Re: Bucket List
Madagascar and the Galapagos, as much as for their great repositories of highly evolved and unique species as for the surf.
Maybe somewhere in West Africa....Gabon? where elephants come down to the water line and some bizarre Skeleton Bay-like left reels off unridden day after day.
And the Rift Valley to check out Oldowan and Acheulean stone tool artifacts from early hominid evolution, particularly Homo Erectus, to try and get a handle on the beginnings of hunter-gatherer consciousness.
Bondi in the summer. Sounds like paradise.

Few Aus classics I still have to do. More of a region bucket list than particulars.
Bluff/gnaraloo
All the South Oz ones.
Cloud break
J Bay
North West African points

Re: Bucket List
Steve, why bother, as if you are ever going to get to the galapogos islands.
Most of the spots named in this thread are gonna be so fccckn overcrowded that it would be a load of shit anyway.
The horse has bolted boys, get used to it.

Re: Bucket List
why bother, what? saying it on a surfing forum ? probably the same reasons you do
loof.
Why do you have to be such a little cnut all the time?
I tell you what was on my bucket list....going up to Newport and surfing with Nick Carroll. It was grand. He lent me a board and a wetsuit and seeing as it was howling onshore we surfed this rippy left at North Av by ourselves and one of his tradie mates in the carpark said I ripped all over him and he should have gone straight in.
loof.

Re: Bucket List
I think it needs to be a bit more specific.
J-Bay - 6 foot (Iggy scale) on a 6'10" channel bottom but in Autumn so not in a super thick wetsuit
Honolua Bay - Again 6 foot (Iggy scale), not uber-crowded.
Chicama - 4-6 foot, riding a 6'6" to get the leg burning length of ride.
Morocco - Pointbreaks

You'll be a much more respected poster Loof, if you scrub the cheap shots out of your game.

What do you dream of Loof, apart from driving around in a winnebago living "free as a bird"?
