I started on a standup as a ~10 year old - with an uncle of mine who is heavily involved in Surfing NSW.

But my best mate who got one of the original Morey Boogieboards in the mid 80's sealed it for me a couple of years later

The front page of realsurf is a late 1990's looking clusterfûck. You can put as much lipstick as you like on that pig and it will remain a pig. It'll look like shit and will still be an utterly pointless website. Its not a surf report site. It's an authors daily travels blog at best. The only reason these forums are still functioning is because anyone who made it in here dared not retreat back to the front page and look at any of the other horseshit scattered all over it.

Don had his chance to clean it up. But he didn't. He was given money to do it, but did nothing with it. Well, nothing on the website anyway. And if he did put some of the 12.7k toward hosting costs, then he should've been transparent about it when he ran his pozible fundraiser, instead of saying it was all going to go to tidy up.
