One of those MC deep concaves. Always been interested in how they go.

7'0" ab 6 channel.
6-10ft Lennox Point E swell, reverse sweep.

It's pretty funny at Carrolls house.......at least I've got all my boards under the house or in my car; Carroll has boards scattered all over the yard with grass growing over them. It's like an archaeology site; you see some fragment of surfboard and it's a 6 channel swallow.

May I ask who?
I say Joel, who had that little ding fixing shack next to the servo......don't know where he is now. Amos does good ding fixing opposite the local motion factory there, but that's if you can find him; he seems to be in the Mentawais a lot.
Dingo Dom gets the job done.

A really good ding fixer is hard to find and should be treasured.

I wouldn't mind trying either 8/6, seeing I haven't had a gun that size.I didn't like the 9/0 gun I once owned & at the time thought 6" less might be OK.
What waves have these 2 been launched in? :)

Umm the 8'6" AB has just surfed big Sunset, nowhere else. The Rawson has been surfed at Sunset, small Waimea, and various reefs round here on massive days.

I'd like an MC shiva, just scaled up for a boofier bloke.

Tomo with most foam
Just about any of the MCs, but see above
6'3" AB
I'd keep going up in length, but have come to realise my enforced limitations

My quiver, if you'd call it that, now down to just 3

5'9" Mick Pierce twin
6'2" JD round pin step up
7'0" Miller round pin - might not ever ride this again so perhaps I'm down to 2

Really struggled getting boards that surf how I want them to, but are totally fcuked shoulder friendly. Pretty sure it's the holy grail I'll never reach

jeez I forgot the 10 channel!

6'5" Phil Myers free flight 10 channel pintail single fin

I bet if I go home I'll find I've forgotten at least three more.

$200 for an undersized secondhand board that won't float me, which i will then attempt to paddle out at newport peak with the "george brandis of surfing" who will more than likely give me a hyper technical and confusing analysis on how i could be surfing better ? no thanks!

Just jump the back fence and steal one, it wouldn't put a dent in that collection.

"Hmm I pretty fking sure I had 5 AB pinniees" scratches head and counts again.

I saw this for sale on a Sth. Oz surfboard sell FB page a couple of days ago.
Got the guy to measure it, seven foot. It's definitely my old board, Paul Gravelle made it for me to take to St. Africa in 1980.
Classic shovel nosed Gravelle shape from that era. Can't tell from the pics but it was foiled out real thin. Would loved to have bought it but the guy wanted $500 and he was too far away in Mt. Gambier. Cost me $180 back in the day.

It probably has your name penciled in on the stringer and if you have photos from SA of the board, tell the cops it was stolen years ago, might not have to pay a cent for it :-D-:

as good as the AB channels are phil myers is underrated and id say his equal. nick could tell us that though as he has both.
some the pics on instagram phil has been posting, those boards look like artwork
