FST, LFT, Timbertek, and a fancy new one called Helium. Website if super fancy with all the info.

They may have slighted a few people over the years, but they seem leaders in the environmental side of surfing at the moment.
I'm leaning towards them for my next board.

I was in Brazil over summer & was chatting to an interesting shop keep who was a former longboard national champ etc he showed me a surfboard made by the SUP company "starboard". It was incredibly light & supposedly super durable, I haven't seen them over here tho. I agree with boo, rails are everything & I think a bit of weight helps greatly with momentum & making fast sections

Next up for me from Terry were two Cheyne Horan type round tail singles with hard panel V in the tail and boat like roll in the front, a 5'10 and 6'2, both for Sydney beachies

Terry suggested a winged keel fin that you had been trialing but I went for Cheyne's Ben Lexen one. Both were great boards for Sydney.

Someone told me recently that it was Terry that did the board that Cheyne won Bells on.

I handled the board and fin that Cheyne won Bells on....actually, he rode it @ the Stubbies b4 Bells.Cheyne told me he was looking for"an edge"to help him win a world title.....I'm not sure who shaped it,Cheyne could have....It looked a bit rough to my eye.

Later that year,Terrys factory was producing a model to use with the Starfin and they looked good.

Starboard is a windsurfing company, too.
Fanatic, another windsurfing brand, had some surfboards on the website too. Never seen one but the shapes look ok and they have a deal with McKee for fin placement from the look of things.

foiled out to medium rails, deepish double inside a deep single. flat entry into some generous tail lift.

Should fins be bigger or smaller for bigger waves?

What I've sometimes heard is bigger, for "control", but as the drag and lift goes up as the cube of the speed in water, it seems to me that smaller would be the go.

Longer the rail line, smaller the fins.
Wider the tail, the larger the fins.
