I did try surf cargo, but he doesnt deliver anywhere near me. Closest he could manage was an hour's drive away from me and I would have to meet him on the highway on a work day as he drove past. Its still an option but I thought there might be something easier. Otherwise, yes, he would have been perfect
if u drive the hour try organizing for a storage company or somewhere else to receive it for you

Wouldn't call it a mini mal though. Love to grab it but too hard to organise at that distance on a Sunday. Seems to be 7' rather than 7'2" from the bottom. Won't last long.

Cheers - its not so much the courier that is the problem, its having to pack the board right (in order for a courier to pick it up). People are happy to bubble wrap the things but most couriers require it to be boxed and people dont want to go to the trouble of pulling apart cartons and jury rigging something. I'm heading over to a 'pack n go' in the next few days to see if they stock surfboard cartons. I know you can get the cartons wholesale so presumably shapers and shops have distribution channels, but for the one off casual person I'm struggling to find where they can be bought.
I may just have to buy a new board...
